We went to a lovely wedding for two friends, John and Petra, today. They were married at Stern Grove in one of the most amazing ceremonies I have ever seen. It was mostly buddist, with a few other touches. I got to read the part of the pussycat in Edward Lear's "The Owl and the Pussycat" towards the end of the ceremony. Then there was lunch catered from Pakwan. That evening just before sunset the reception continued at the DeYoung in the Observation Tower with cocktails, appetizers, cake, and dancing. It was lovely. Congratulations John & Petra!
