I've decided to try the
Eat Local Challenge for September. I'm going for 75% of my food grown within 100 miles of Oakland, with a few food exceptions (coffee, soy milk, salt, sugar...) and event exceptions (my friend's wedding on the 15th...). So I went a little nuts at the Farmer's Market today. Here's just part of what I came home with:
